Now, according to somebody that joined a group we had for a normal mode directive 7 run, or was it Kaon under siege, can't remember which tbh, but they told us that normal mode operations were easier than hard mode flashpoints. I'm not sure how true this is, but there is only one way of finding out for certain, and that is to get a group of 8 people together and trying out the Eternity Vault (I understand this is the entry level one, and is easier than Karagga's Palace)
The ideal set-up for 8man operations is 2 tanks, 2 healers and 4 dps. 16man operations might be a little bit too much to aim for atm. As the servers are currently offline, I cannot check who is at lvl 50 and what class/spec they are, but i am fairly sure that we have there or thereabouts enough for a full group, and as such, the next step is to organise a night for our first attempt.
From a personal point of view, I will strive to be available any and every night for this, although in reality Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings are a little difficult because of the 3am wake-up for work the next morning, but I am prepared to make a sacrifice if one of these is the only night possible.
What nights are other people available? please list below which evenings are good or bad for you, and also what role/class/spec you are, so we can start to plan for AoT's initial operation run.
Any other ideas/suggestions concerning operations, please feel free to add as well. Do we need to think about recruitment to bolster our numbers? do we need to run through HM flashpoints as a guild first? Lets hear your thoughts and ideas.
